This is the moment a mass brawl erupted at a railway station after a row broke out between two groups of men on a train.

The footage shows one man repeatedly being kicked in the head before bystanders try to intervene at Harpenden Station, six miles south of Luton, on Saturday.

Three men were arrested but have now been released under investigation, British Transport Police said.

The incident started with a heated exchange on board a train, before turning physical and spilling out onto the concourse.

In one fight, a male in a white top is seen rolling out of the train doors and pummelling another man in the head.

He continues to punch the man, who grabs on to his attacker’s knees in a bid to get him to stop.

Another man joins the brawl and kicks the man dressed in white repeatedly in the head.

In the background, other groups of men are seen punching and kicking while brave rail passengers try and break the violence up.

Just when the fight looks to be finished, and an unmoving man lays injured on the floor, a couple of men go back and attempt to carry on their attack.

They are once again stalled by heroic members of the public who stand in front of the hurt victim.
