Moment officer found sock full of cocaine hidden in drug dealer's car door
This is the moment an officer found a sock full of cocaine hidden in a drug dealer's car door panel.
Officers from Cambridgeshire's Road Policing Unit were on patrol on the A1307 on October 6 this year when they spotted a black Ford Kuga they suspected to be involved in drug supply. They pulled over the driver, Notis Kola, 21, of Ringstone, Duxford, and began searching his vehicle.
Footage from Kola's arrest shows it took officers just 47 seconds to find a black sock containing 17 wraps of cocaine hidden within the driver's door panel. The officer then asked over the radio for a van to be sent to the scene and arrested Kola on suspicion of possession of a class A drug and intent to supply.

Before arresting Kola, the officer says: "You've let me down, I thought you were a nice chap." He then said: "You're now under arrest," with Kola replying with "why".
A further 100 wraps of cocaine with a street value of more than £10,000 were then found in his bedroom at his home. Kola pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine at Cambridge Crown Court on November 6, 2024. He was jailed for two years and four months.
Detective Constable Amberlie Ford, who investigated, said: “We’re committed to taking drug dealers like Kola off the streets of Cambridgeshire and putting them before the courts. Drug dealing brings associated crime including violence and theft and will not be tolerated by police and communities.”
