Moment of Strike on Ukrainian Shopping Mall Captured by CCTV

Newly released CCTV footage shows the fatal moment a Russian missile hit a shopping mall in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, on Monday, June 27.

The missile can be seen flying directly towards the site before a large explosion occurs.

Two missiles struck the area: one hitting the Amostor shopping center, and the other hitting the neighboring Kredmash automotive factory.

Ukrainian officials on Tuesday said at least 18 people were killed in the attack, dozens were wounded, and many others were unaccounted for.

“We have all the evidence of what the Russian military is doing against our people,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video address on Tuesday during which he released the footage.

Zelensky said the missile in the footage was one of 2,811 fired at Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24. Credit: Volodymyr Zelensky via Storyful
