The moment two vans are submerged by the sea at a North Wales beach
Two vehicles got caught out by the tide on the Conwy coast. Pictures showed two vans submerged in the sea at Penmaenmawr Beach yesterday evening (Monday).
On social media, a member of the public said it was not the first time vehicles had been submerged in that location. The coastguard confirmed they were called to the scene yesterday evening, with the Llandudno team sent provide cover, while the vehicles were recovered from the beach.
A spokesperson said: "At around 7.30pm yesterday, HM Coastguard received report of two vehicles stuck on a beach at Penmaenmawr in North Wales. Llandudno Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) were called to provide safety cover for recovery crews while the vehicles were safely removed."
