Monaco has two brand new style icons - and they scarcely come up to your knee. Four year old royal twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were seen celebrating Monaco National Day yesterday in tiny red and black outfits.

It’s the latest in a short yet incredibly stylish list of appearances by the pair, who upstaged red carpet arrivals in February with enough sass to rival Lady Gaga's entire awards season run.

The duo joined the rest of their fashionable family to celebrate Monaco National Day in Monte-Carlo. All the attention was easily on the twins’ statement hats, as Princess Gabriella wore a red beret while Prince Jacques donned the tiniest Monacan military helmet in the world.

The prince, who was dressed in full military regalia, may not have been a huge fan of the hat as it eventually disappeared at one point.

The princess also wore a blue and red overcoat to combat the chilly weather and was seen waving a flag around as she laughed with her cousin Kaia-Rose Wittstock.

In February, the prince and princess sported a very different look from their versatile wardrobe.

Dressed in matching leather jackets, sunglasses, a floral dress (for Gabriella) and a shirt and jeans (Jacques), the pair accompanied their parents, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert, to the launch of a new shopping centre called One Monte Carlo.

A glance at Princess Charlene’s personal Instagram would suggest this isn't the first time the royal twins have served a major look.

During their trip to New York in January, Charlene posted a series of photographs of the pair wearing red, white and blue outfits.

For their joint birthday party last year, the twins dressed up for a superhero-themed soiree, where they were photographed by Charlene hugging one another / plotting a hostile takeover of the British throne.

Jacques wore a Spiderman hoodie (and later posed under a gigantic Spiderman statue) while Gabriella wore a princess gown (which would be just a gown to her, presumably) covered in white and blue stars.

Their mother, Princess Charlene of Monaco, is no slouch in the fashion department either, often opting for floor-length dresses by Versace and Dior.

Previously an Olympic swimmer, Charlene wore an off-the-shoulder Armani gown for her nuptials to Prince Albert II in 2011.

According to Marie Claire, it was covered in 40,000 Swarovski crystals and featured a 16 foot train which took over 100 hours to make.
