Moped gang filmed tearing through south London spraying unsuspecting passers-by with fire extinguisher

A moped gang tore through the streets of south London spraying people with a fire extinguisher.

Footage shows a rider and a pillion passenger spraying restaurant diners, commuters and even a police car as they mount pavements and drive erratically through streets in Wandsworth and Wimbledon.

A rider on a second moped can be heard laughing as he films the attacks on a helmet-mounted camera.

Merton Police said officers were looking into the incident, which is believed to have taken place late one evening in the last few weeks.

At one point, the riders, dressed all in black, mount the pavement to spray gas at a group of people sitting outside a restaurant enjoying a meal.

A diner who steps out of the restaurant as they pass takes a direct hit to the face.

They can also be seen targeting people waiting at three separate bus stops.

The pair are filmed driving along Gladstone Road in Wimbledon, mounting the pavement and heading towards the Wibbas Down Inn Wetherspoon pub.

They later target a police car parked on the forecourt of the BP petrol station on Kingston Road, also in Wimbledon, before riding away.
