At a mountain temple in the Binh Duong province of Vietnam, more than 100 monkeys roam free. According to the monks, two of the creatures were brought to Chau Thoi pagoda by a local around 25 years ago spawning the large troop. "Looking at the monkeys is very cute," says visitor Nguyen Phuong Hoa. "But I'm a bit afraid of monkeys jumping on people," she adds. The monks who live at the temple have no such worries and seem to enjoy the presence of the playful animals. "It's fun to have these monkeys, the monkeys here are very fat and breed a lot," says Thich Hue Thong, the abbot of the temple.
