More than 150 cannabis plants found growing in Littleover home
Police officers have dismantled a cannabis grow at a house in a Derby suburb. A total of 152 plants were discovered when members of the Littleover, Mickleover and Sunnyhill Safer Neighbourhood Team entered the property in Littleover.
They were accompanied by officers from the Normanton and Rose Hill Safer Neighbourhood Team when the seizure of the plants took place in Penhryn Avenue.
A police spokesman said: "The seizure will prevent them from being used in future crimes. Cannabis cultivations can crop up anywhere, so if you notice any strange smells or suspicious activity at a nearby address, please do not hesitate to report them.
