Three more films have been pulled from The Weinstein Company's release schedule.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TWC has pulled The War with Grandpa, Mary Magdalene and The Upside.

The War with Grandpa, which stars Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman and Jane Seymour, was scheduled for release on February 23.

Mary Magdalene, starring Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix, was set to come out on March 30, while The Upside (Nicole Kidman, Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston) was slated for March 9.

The Weinstein Co has already postponed The Current War, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and it sold off domestic rights to the Paddington sequel to Warner Bros (via THR).

Back in October, Weinstein was fired from the company that he founded and served as co-chairman of – though he remains a shareholder.

The Weinstein Company has denied having any knowledge of accusations of sexual impropriety, and is conducting its own independent investigation of the harassment claims.

Weinstein has apologised for the way he has "behaved with colleagues in the past" and acknowledged that his actions have "caused a lot of pain".

However, he has denied any allegations of non-consensual sex "unequivocally" and claimed that many of the accusations against him are "patently false".

Following the scandal, numerous women in Hollywood and fashion, among other industries, have come forward to reveal their experiences of sexual harassment and assault in the workplace.

At this year's Golden Globes, almost every single man and woman wore black in support of the #MeToo campaign and its spiritual successor #TimesUp.
