As the royal wedding continues to be dominated by family drama and speculation over who will be walking royal bride-to-be Meghan Markle down the aisle, This Morning included a feature which saw viewers ringing up to reveal who accompanied them on their big day.
One viewer's very emotional story got host Holly Willoughby welling up as she read it out in the studio.
"My little boy walked me down the aisle after my dad passed away and couldn't fulfil the role," Holly read out aloud on behalf of viewer Anne.
The presenter managed to keep it together as she continued: "I wanted my mum to keep her role as mother of the bride, and I wanted Tyler to have the honour and be part of mummy and daddy's – oh my god, I'm going to cry – special day..."
When Phillip Schofield asked if she was alright, Holly managed to compose herself and reply: "Yep, that just crept up on me there..."
Another caller almost prompted tears again as she told the hosts how she had requested that her late mum was buried in the same outfit she wore to walk her down the aisle.
But Holly and Phil were also having a bit of fun with the royal wedding too, with their segment featuring royal memorabilia.
Viewers were in hysterics – as were the presenters – when two models entered centre stage wearing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle swimsuits.
"The Harry one is all wrong!" Philip cried out.
Holly then succinctly pointed out: "It's where the beard is!"
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19.
Kensington Palace has yet to confirm whether or not Meghan's father Thomas Markle will be attending, with some suggesting Meghan's mother Doria Ragland will walk her down the aisle in his absence.
