Andrew 'asked Epstein's ex for help dealing with accuser's claims'

Prince Andrew asked Jeffrey Epstein’s former partner for help dealing with claims by a woman who said she was forced to have sex with him, leaked emails appear to show.

BBC Panorama claimed it uncovered an email allegedly sent by Andrew in 2015 to Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of procuring girls for disgraced financier Epstein.

In it, the duke is reported to have asked for Ms Maxwell's help in dealing with claims by Virginia Giuffre, who was previously known as Virginia Roberts.

The duke is said to have written: "Let me know when we can talk. Got some specific questions to ask you about Virginia Roberts."

Ms Giuffre claims she was trafficked by the since disgraced financier Epstein and forced to have sex with Andrew when she was 17.

Andrew strenuously denies the claims and Buckingham Palace has branded the allegations “false and without any foundation”.
