Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid will be "celebrating COVID heroes up and down the country, from the likes of Captain Sir Tom [Moore] to the incredible staff of the NHS who saved so many lives".

Following up at 9am will be Lorraine with her usual dose of fashion and beauty inspiration from her team of experts, along with some extra festive content.

Then taking over at 10am will be Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for the first ever Christmas Day This Morning.

It's promised that the extra-special episode is "packed full of heart-warming surprises, special guests, and favourite familiar faces".

The afternoon will then kick off with some helpful cooking advice, with James Martin presenting James Martin’s Christmas Day.

ITV promises "there’ll be a mouth-watering recipe from the Michelin-starred Tom Kerridge, plus The Ritz's head chef John Williams and Bake Off Creme De La Creme winner Mark Tilling will be treating viewers to some of his deliciously decadent chocolate creations".

Following this, there'll be a special Christmas episode of Ainsley's Festive Food We Love with a line-up of special guests.
