Rochelle Humes has managed to impress Phillip Schofield with her presenting technique on This Morning.

The former Saturdays singer has been standing in for Holly Willoughby while she headed to Australia to present I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here alongside Dec Donnelly, while Ant McPartlin takes some time off.

Speaking toThe Mirror, Schofe said: "She’s done so well, she really has. Holly’s shoes are big shoes to fit into. Ant's shoes are big shoes to fit into. So you've got two very capable broadcasters. Certainly not the easiest new job."

"By the time Holly comes back we’re almost into Christmas and I think because she’s been away for such a long time and she’s a mum she’s got her Christmas to organise as well.

"So I think it was fairly sensible to say Rochelle is doing really well, she will do up until Christmas and Holly rejoins me in the New Year."

Holly recently revealed she suffered through a “horrendous” moment while in Australia that didn’t make it to air.

"There was a bit – you know the coliseum and you had Fleur [East] and Sair [Khan], and they had the green ants? So this bit didn't make it to air, because I actually ran out,” she on This Morning via a satellite link.

"I was stood there, and one green ant bit me. And I burst into tears and I ran out of the coliseum. I was so embarrassed that I was crying.

"I was sort of laughing but sort of crying, and there were the red curtains and I opened the curtains and I went, 'Help me!'.

"And then I ran out and was so embarrassed, and it was at that moment that I was like, 'Right, you've got to pull yourself together now, because you can't be running out. You have to stay there and see it through to the end'."

This Morning is on ITV weekdays at 10.30.
