This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes just had a dig at Loose Women
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were on their usual Friday presenting duties for This Morning today (March 22) – but fans noticed that they were bickering even more than usual.
And at one point during the show, Eamonn even had a bit of dig at Ruth's other ITV series Loose Women, which she sometimes hosts in the week. Yikes...
During their interview with former local councillor Karen Danczuk – who recently signed up to a pay-per-view website to offer racy pictures of herself along with live political Q&As – Eamonn shared his thoughts on Ruth's apparent disagreement with Karen's work.
As the interview went on, Ruth seemed to be the dissenting voice in the debate, while Eamonn stood up for Karen.
Eamonn argued that if Karen was a guest on Loose Women, the panel would be celebrating her 'empowering' movement online. He suggested that the only difference between accepting Karen's snaps and judging them was the lack of a '#WomensEmpowerment' hashtag.
And viewers seemed to enjoy the awkward moment between the pair:
Love the fact Eamonn just burned not only Ruth but loose women 😂👍🏻 #ThisMorning

Hahahah yeah! Eamonn was right though what he said when Ruth would take a difference opinion when she’s on loose women. That’s why I don’t watch loose women 🤷♀️

In fact, viewers couldn't help but pick up on the couple's constant little digs at each other on today's show:
Are Ruth and Eamonn having a passive-aggressive off today or what?! #thismorning pic.twitter.com/9axYWlp9Kl

Later on, Eamonn referenced the fact that the couple had been a bit spiky this morning, proposing that they use some fake laughter to reassure the audience nothing was wrong. He then promised that his and Ruth's cross words on the show weren't serious.
We'll take his word for it.
This Morning and Loose Women air on ITV.
