Holly Willoughby proved a hit with I'm a Celebrity viewers as she presented alongside Declan Donnelly this series.

Now that the reality show is over for another year, some This Morning fans are already wondering when the presenter will be back opposite Phillip Schofield on the popular daytime programme.

The answer is: not for a while yet.

Schofe responded to one Twitter user asking this very question, and he confirmed that Holly won't be back this year.

"Nope, she can't get back in time," he wrote. "The first time we're on telly together is @dancingonice in the new year."

So, fans will have to wait until 2019.

Before then, Holly will be presenting alongside Dec once more for I'm a Celebrity's Coming Out special, which follows the celebrities as they return to their normal lives. That episode will air on Wednesday, December 12.

This year's I'm a Celebrity enjoyed the highest ratings in the show's history, averaging a massive 12.2 million viewers (based on seven-day consolidated figures).

The 2018 series was won by football manager Harry Redknapp, who beat Emily Atack and John Barrowman in the final.

Meanwhile, Barrowman appeared on today's episode of This Morning as he shared his side on why he clashed with fellow campmate Noel Edmonds.

"I apologised to Noel," he told Phillip and Rochelle Humes. "I snapped with him because the whole camp, that had a calm situation to begin with, was thrown into upheaval, because we now had an emperor. And that was change, and that freaked me out."

This Morning and I'm a Celebrity both air on ITV.
