This Morning viewers were left stunned after they discovered TV icon Diana Moran's real age.

Moran notably hosted the exercise segment of BBC1's Breakfast Time programme between 1983 and 1987. Known for her trademark green leotard, she was later nicknamed the Green Goddess.

During her career, the fitness expert published over 10 books, including Get Fit with the Green Goddess in 1984 – which accompanied a record and video of the same name.

Moran, who is 85, appeared on the This Morning sofa on Monday (July 22) to speak about her successful career – with many viewers blown away by her youthful appearance.

"Blimey, Diana looks amazing for 85!" wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter), with another adding: "She looks fab for 85yrs."

A third commented: "She looks amazing for 85 I have to say, looks only about 60!" while a fourth noted: "She was born on 11th June 1939 – 2 months before the start of WW2! Mad."

Another viewer echoed the sentiment: "Credit where it's due, she looks amazing."

Speaking to hosts Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett, Moran revealed she became the Green Goddess "totally by mistake".

"It wasn't planned at all," she explained. "I was a personnel and welfare officer in a big department store in the West Country and, because I'm so tall, one day they asked me to be a model in one of their fashion shows.

"[The BBC] were starting Breakfast Time, and I got a phone call asking if I would like to come and be on the show for the first week, and I was there for four years!"

This Morning recently announced its summer presenting line-up while main hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard take a break until September 2.

The hit ITV daytime show has confirmed it'll be welcoming a mix of familiar faces to the sofa, including Josie Gibson, Rylan Clark and Rochelle Humes.

Viewers will also see the return of Sian Welby alongside Craig Doyle, marking Sian's first return to presenting since welcoming her baby daughter Ruby in June.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
