Phillip Schofield has revealed that he hasn't spoken about divorce with his wife Stephanie Lowe.

The This Morning presenter publicly came out as gay in February this year live on air, leading to speculation he would divorce his wife of 27 years.

However, speaking recently, Phillip insisted he and Steph have "not discussed" the idea of officially separating and they are "still married".

"We're picking our way through," he told Chris Evans's How to Wow podcast. "It's a work in progress.

"I'm still married to Steph. With divorce... we've not discussed that at all."

Phillip added: "It's not in my nature to hurt people.

"How is it possible to come out and not hurt your wife? It isn't. My greatest concern is her."

Previously, Phillip – who has daughters Molly and Ruby with Steph – opened up about struggling to come to terms with his sexuality as a gay man.
