Morrisons introduces huge change for customers eating in its cafés

Morrisons has announced a big change in its cafés which will enable club members to enjoy free cake. The supermarket is launching 'Meet up Mondays' to help support parents and carers.

Baby Club Members who attend the weekly meetups in Morrisons cafés nationwide each Monday, will receive a free cake with the purchase of any hot drink. The idea is to help provide a space where parents can build connections and celebrate the big and small moments in pregnancy and throughout a baby’s first years.

The deal is available across a wide range of refillable hot drinks, with prices starting from just £1.85, and customers can choose from a selection of delicious cakes to complement their warming beverage – from a Victoria sponge cake and salted caramel brownie to a festive mince pie.

Becky Wilson, Café Buyer at Morrisons, said: "'Meet up Mondays’ are a great way to help support the UK’s incredible community of parents and bring them together over a hot-drink and sweet treat. By providing a space to build connections and celebrate the big and small moments in pregnancy and throughout a baby’s first years, we are helping Baby Club members catch-up with new friends and share experiences."

You can join Morrisons Baby & Toddler Club via the 'clubs' section on the More Card app or Morrisons More website. For the Baby Club deal, you can choose from lattes and cappuccinos to peppermint and chamomile teas. And, for those wanting something healthier than cake, alternative options of fruit including apples, bananas and oranges will be available at the Café counter instead.

There's also a kids eat free offer when purchased alongside an adult meal costing over £5 from The Breakfasts, The Classics or The Chippy menu. The offer is available for any child aged under 16 in Morrisons Cafes nationwide.
