MORRISSEY is set to finish his upcoming autumn tour in the city - with tickets going on sale today.

The singer, famed for fronting Eighties indie band The Smiths, announced a UK and Ireland tour earlier this month.

The How Soon Is Now singer will play the Brighton Centre on October 14, having last visited the venue four years ago.

The tour marks Morrissey's return to playing live in the UK after his last date at Wembley Arena in 2020.

He will play a series of shows across the UK’s biggest cities, including Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham, as well as Killarney in Ireland.

Morrissey, who is currently unsigned, shot to fame with The Smiths in 1982.

He worked with legendary guitarist Johnny Marr until the group split in 1987.

The pair have both enjoyed successful solo careers since.

Morrissey’s fourteenth studio album, Bonfire of Teenagers, was recorded in early 2021, but has yet to be released.

He is reportedly selling the rights to the highest bidder.

Tickets for Morrissey at the Brighton Centre are available via the venue's website.
