'Most thrilling' Tina Turner tribute set for Leicestershire shows

A Tina Turner tribute show described as the “most thrilling” of its kind is set to visit Leicester next month. What’s Love Got To Do With It? is hailed as a “full-throttle, high-energy celebration” of Tina’s legendary 60-year career.

Featuring a “phenomenal” live band, the show will deliver “stunning renditions of unforgettable ballads and soulful classics”, featuring performances of the “electrifying Proud Mary and powerhouse River Deep – Mountain High to the anthemic Simply The Best and sultry Private Dancer.” Bringing Tina’s music to life is Holly Bannis.

Raised in a musical family, Holly’s passion for performing “shines in every moment she spends on stage”, delivering each song with the “heart, energy, and soul that Tina fans know and love”, a spokesman for the show said. The show is set for De Montfort Hall on Saturday, February 1.

It will also appear at Loughborough’s Town Hall on Thursday, May 8. Tickets are available at the Cuffe and Taylor website.
