Mother and daughter staffies have been left homeless after a turbulent three years.

Staffie Charlie, 12, and her daughter staffie cross Alma, 9, came into the care of the RSPCA Eau Brink Rehoming Centre in 2020, after their owner died and they were left homeless.

The "sweetest little pair" found new owners later the same year, but their happy ending was cut short when they were given up for the second time, due to a change in their own circumstances.

Emily Cole, centre manager said: “It’s so sad to think that three years ago we were making the same plea for them, and while the last three years have been very happy for them, they have sadly had another unforeseen upheaval to their life and it must be so hard for them and confusing to be back with us again.

“They are getting older and need somewhere to call home and a sofa of their own to snuggle on.

“They are just the sweetest little pair and they will bring such joy to any family they join. The bond between them is just wonderful to see and this is why it’s so important that we try to find them homes together.

“Charlie is a perfect mum even now she’s older and she absolutely loves attention. She enjoys resting her head on your lap and having as many kisses and cuddles as she can.

“Alma is the daughter who equally loves attention. She will climb on you and kiss your face forever if she can.

They often share a bed and need to be rehomed together.

Charlie cannot walk too far due to her age, but Alma enjoys longer walks.
