Mother Duck and Brood Rescued From Busy Road in Ireland

A duck and 13 of her ducklings were rescued from a busy road by police in Tipperary, Ireland, on May 27.

This footage, released by Irish police, shows officers returning the ducks to their natural habitat in a river in the town of Thurles.

Police said they were called to a “major traffic obstruction” and located the ducks with the help of locals. “A quacking time all round,” police wrote on Twitter. Credit: An Garda Siochana via Storyful
