Mother Shares Challenge of Getting 1-Year-Old Triplets to 'Sit Still' for Photo

A mother in Branford, Connecticut, struggled to get her adorable triplets to “sit still” for long enough to take a photograph on August 8.

Lauren Barnes, who has been chronicling the lives of her triplets on her Instagram page, told Storyful the infants were a year old at the time of filming.

The video, filmed by Barnes, shows a family friend trying to get her triplets in formation for a photo. The triplets, however, are overcome with excitement and can’t stay in one place for any length of time.

“Needless to say they only wanted to move and explore”, Barnes said.

Now that the triplets have turned one, Barnes explained that the trio’s “happy and mischievous personalities are really starting to shine through”. Credit: Lauren Barnes via Storyful
