Motorcyclist sustains life-threatening injuries in collision with car

A man has sustained life-threatening injuries following a collision between a car and a motorbike.

At around 4.45pm on Monday, June 3, emergency services were called to the A1035 near the crossroads of Catwick Lane, following reports that a blue Suzuki GSXR motorbike travelling towards Hornsea was involved in a collision with a red MG ZS.

The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries which are thought to be life-threatening. The driver of the red MG ZS is believed to have suffered injuries to his arm as a result of the collision.


Humberside Police is now appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "We would like to hear from anyone that may have witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage from the area at the time, to please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 385 of 3 June."
