A motorist hit a wall at a Cambridgeshire business – before driving away and leaving the wall to collapse. A red car was seen to hit a wall at The Shed in Lode on Wednesday (November 13).

Jack Phookha, manager at The Wrestlers and Pattaya Kitchen which is based at The Shed, said it appeared that the driver was trying to turn around when they hit the wall. The Thai restaurant opened at The Shed in September.

The incident was captured on the restaurant's CCTV. The wall partially collapsed after being hit by the driver.

"We just hope that the person would come forward," Mr Phookha said. "We might have to pay for that ourselves if no one comes forward."

A post on The Wrestlers Facebook page said: "Unfortunately, we had someone hit and run our wall at our Shed venue today. If this was you and you accidentally drove off, please get in touch so we can exchange details and you can help cover the damage.
