Motorist wipes out Stoke-on-Trent bus stop in 5pm smash

A motorist smashed into a city bus stop - before driving off. And the crash in Goldenhill is said to have caused 'significant damage'.

The collision occurred on High Street at around 5pm on November 16. A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "An unknown vehicle collided with a bus stop on the road, leaving significant damage behind.

"The driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene. We’re keen to hear from anyone who saw the collision or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time."
