Motorway lanes reopened after three-vehicle crash
Two lanes of a motorway have reopened after a crash involving three vehicles.
The M6 southbound had two lanes closed after junction 42 (Carlisle South) due to a three-vehicle collision entering the roadworks.
There were at least two miles of queueing traffic.
A spokesperson from Cumbria police said officers were called out at 2:55 pm today to a report of the crash.
The road has since reopened but queues are still to clear in the meantime.
