Some 68 MPs have now said they will not seek re-election on December 12.

On Thursday, former Labour MP Ian Austin announced he was standing down as he urged people to vote for the Conservative Party to stop the "unfit" Jeremy Corbyn from getting into power.

His resignation came shortly after Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson said he was standing down as both an MP for West Bromwich East and from the Shadow Cabinet.

It came on the same day that independent Lady Sylvia Hermon said she would not be defending the North Down seat she first took in 2001.

Here is the latest list of MPs who have said they will be standing down.
