A noodle restaurant chain has opened its doors to customers in Middlesbrough.

Mr Su's is already a big hit with foodies in Leeds and Manchester and decided to move further north and open an eatery in Middlesbrough. Cooking fresh, healthy meals, Mr Su's serves up a range of noodle dishes, along with dumplings, hot pot and bubble tea.

Co-owner Matt Khan, said they opened six weeks ago and things are going well. Founder, Mr Su, was born in China and boasts an impressive culinary background spanning over 25 years.

With experience as a head chef in prestigious 4-star hotels in Dubai, China and England he brings a wealth of knowledge and mastery to the restaurant. Matt said the first Mr Su's was opened in Leeds four years ago.

"We are really well known in Leeds and very popular," he explained. "We thought we would bring the concept to Middlesbrough."

Following the overwhelming success of the Leeds branch the company opened their second branch in Manchester last year. Matt said they are committed to using fresh ingredients and making sure the dishes are both delicious and are also healthy.

Mr Su's sticks to authenticity, with noodles made each day using traditional techniques, resulting in a texture that perfectly complements the vibrant flavours of our sauces and broths, Matt says.

Leoni Mahmood, who is managing the new Middlesbrough branch in Linthorpe Road next to the former Frasers store, said they want to let people know they are open for business. "We just had a soft launch, we didn't really do any advertising," she said.

"But, it has been going really well, we have had a lot of Chinese people and a lot of locals in. We just want to let people know we are open."
