Mrs Hinch fans share 'brilliant' trick to banish mould from washing machine seals
Mrs Hinch fans have shared their go-to method for removing mould from washing machine seals. Washing machine seals are prone to mould because they are in a warm and damp environment, which are prone to long periods of inactivity.
While washing clothes at low temperatures is better for the environment, this can lead to a buildup of mould over time. Enzyme-based detergents and closing the washing machine door when it's not in use can also cause mould to build up.
Removing mould from washing machine seals can be tricky but there is a simple way to do it, according to fans of Mrs Hinch.

Carol Jenkins posted on the Facebook group, 'Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips': "Help please, what can I do to remove the awful stains/mould in the rubber seal of my washing machine? Tried so many products but nothing will clean completely! Thanks in advance."
One of the products mentioned was a mould remover called HG Mould Remover Spray.
Lynda Dixon Gibson shared a photo of the product and wrote: "Try this, it's brilliant. Spray on, leave for 45 minutes, rinse off, and repeat if necessary. Wear gloves when using. Can be bought from Tesco, Morrisons and BandQ."
Carrie Glew agreed and commented on the post: "This!!!!!"
HG Mould Remover Spray can be bought online and from local supermarkets. Asda and Tesco sell the product for £5.25 and BandQ sells it for £6.50.
According to HG, the mould spray "immediately and effortlessly eliminates all moulds, making filthy black stains disappear, inside and outside".
The product has received a rating of 4.8 out of five stars on the Tesco website with some people describing the item as "absolutely fabulous".
One customer said: "I've tried so many different products to get rid of the black mould in the bathroom, none have worked. This does!! Left it for 30 mins as directed and when I walked back in I was shocked it had all gone! Just be sure to open all windows and use in the morning as it is strong smelling."
Another wrote: "You don't even have to wait 30 minutes for it to work. It does the job in seconds. It's worth every penny spent."
However, some people weren't as impressed with the product. They said: "Bleach whitens the black mould but that is all it does. White vinegar is the best way to Kill the mould and its roots."
Other products Mrs Hinch fans recommended are Kilrock mould remover and Astonish mould and mildew spray.
