MS Dhoni retires from international cricket after storied career as India captain and wicketkeeper-batsman

MS Dhoni has retired from international cricket after a long and successful career with India both as a captain and as a revered wicketkeeper-batsman.

Dhoni is recognised as one of India’s greatest players, particularly in the one-day format where he was formidable on both sides of the stumps.

He captained India to the 2011 ODI World Cup on home soil, cementing his legacy as one of their great captains too.

Dhoni wrote on Instagram: ”Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”
