Mudslide hits southern Chinese city, damaging dozens of houses and killing livestock

A dramatic mudslide hit a city in southern China, damaging 186 houses and killing 173 livestock. The video, filmed in Muli Tibetan Autonomous County in Sichuan Province on July 5, shows rapid muddy floodwater running down a street and submerging houses. According to reports, 1,042 residents have been evacuated successfully as a warning notice was issued half an hour before the disaster, avoiding an economic loss of 14.21 million yuan.
