Multiple 999 crews sent to M6 in Staffordshire after head-on crash
The occupants of vehicles involved in a head-on crash on the M6 in Staffordshire were lucky to escape with minor injuries. Multiple fire crews and ambulances were sent to the M6 Toll following the collision yesterday (January 27).
Photos from the scene showed the smash left debris strewn across the carriageway. Staffordshire Police's newly-formed road crime team responded to the incident.
Officers have now confirmed that one driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. A man has since been charged with the offence.

Sharing details on social media, the RCT said: "Today we have charged a male with dangerous driving following a head on collision on the M6 Toll yesterday. We would like to thank those caught up in the closure whilst we worked alongside West Midlands Fire Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service. Luckily the occupants only received minor injuries."
