Multiple police cars on scene as stolen car stopped by stinger
Police are hunting the driver of a stolen car that was abandoned in a Stoke-on-Trent street. Officers were alerted after a vehicle was taken from Church Road, Biddulph, this morning (November 28).
They then spotted it in Pleydell Street in Sneyd Green where a stinger was deployed. But the driver fled the scene after finally coming to a stop nearby.
Eye-witnesses reported seeing four police cars in the area. Now Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses.

A force spokesman said: "We were called at 8am this morning (November 28) to reports a car had been stolen from Church Road, Biddulph. Officers located the vehicle and stung it on Pleydell Street in Sneyd Green.
"The car was found on Rosemary Drive. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch."
