The mum of Britain’s largest family, the Radfords, was involved in a car crash this week that wrecked her vehicle.

Sue Radford was involved in the crash on Monday (March 20), which took place on Queen Street in Morecambe.

The 48-year-old said the crash damaged her Porsche and has spoken out about the ‘nightmare’ of trying to sort the insurance.

On Monday, Sue posted a picture of emergency services at the crash and said: “Not how I expected my day to go but thankfully everyone was ok. The car isn't but it's only metal and can be sorted.

"So thankful I didn't have the kids in the car though. Also thank you to all who stopped to ask if I was ok."

In an update Sue, star of Channel 5 show 22 Kids and Counting, told her 508,000 followers that her car is “undriveable” and that she is in the process of finding a hire car.

She said: “I had day two of trying to sort the car insurance out. Why is this so stressful?

“We’re waiting for them to take my car to a specialist centre to have it fixed but trying to get a hire car sorted is a nightmare.

“My car is undriveable because the rear wheel is facing inwards so it’s not safe to drive and has taken the full force of the impact.

“Just hoping it’s not damaged underneath.

“Having said that it just goes to show how well build Porche are as even though he went into my rear bumper at some force that’s not too bad.

“I hope it’s sorted tomorrow, if not I think I will have to drive the motorhome around. I have done an update on a vlog I have filmed today which should be out tomorrow.”

In a later post Sue shared a picture of herself in a motorhome and wrote: “When you have to resort to driving the motorhome.”
