My Mum, Your Dad viewers left gushing over chemistry during romantic date

Things heated up in the latest instalment of My Mum, Your dad as Vicky and David's endearing date left viewers feeling a bit flustered.

In the episode, host Davina paid a visit to the children of the parents. She told them: "I know you all want to see your parents on a date at some point and your wish is my command. So I bring you another off-site date for them to go on today. So shall we have a think about who you think it should be?"

Angharad, daughter of Vicky, put her mum forward, mentioning: "I think my mum has mentioned David."

The consensus among the kids was clear, and Livia, Maria's daughter, joined in, saying: "I would like to see that, yesterday they had a good chat for the first time and your mum opened up for the first time to David."

Addressing Tiana, David's daughter, Angharad suggested: "I think maybe they need the opportunity to actually see if there is something there because my mum said that she did really enjoy her chat with your dad yesterday," reports the Mirror.

As Vicky and David set off for some private time away from the other cast members, Davina let the children know that Tiana and Angharad would be overseeing the date, while also instructing the dance teacher. She clarified: "It's a really special date, it's a dance lesson."

Davina added with excitement: "Obviously they are not going to be alone as you two are going. And this time you are going to be in the ear of the dance instructor, so you can direct what you want your parents to do!"

Angharad couldn't help but laugh after uncovering their parents' covert mission, joking: "My mum has no coordination." Tiana chimed in about her own father's lack of rhythm, "I don't think my dad's any better."

Yet as the couple enjoyed their romantic dance, viewers were rooting for them, with one fan rushing to social media platform X to express their enthusiasm: "D is brilliant best date so far. I really like them both together."

Echoing the sentiment, another viewer was clearly taken by the match: "Vicky and D!!! Wow!!!" The gesture of Dean giving Vicky his jacket didn't go unnoticed either, as someone remarked: "Vicky's wearing Dee's blazer," accompanied by a crying face emoji.

Despite their chemistry, Vicky remains open to exploring connections with other potentials in the house. The episode also introduced a twist when a new mother, Steph, entered the fray, adding to the excitement and love quests of the parents.

My Mum, Your Dad is available to watch on ITVX.
