Mum of four who 'lived for her boys' dies suddenly on holiday in Egypt
A mum who "lived for her boys" died suddenly while on holiday. Liz Boardman was in Egypt with her family when she died unexpectedly in the early hours of Monday, November 11.
The mum-of-four boys had recently celebrated her 40th birthday in August and was described as funny and kind by loved ones. Liz's body was flown home on Friday, November 15 and her family are waiting to find the cause of death.
Friend Michelle Lowe, from Anfield, worked with Liz - who is from Bolton - and has set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs and "to help the boys as much as possible at this extremely sad and difficult time."

Paying tribute to Liz, Michelle, 38, told the ECHO: "Liz was one of the funniest of people I had ever met in my life. She was a great storyteller. Liz was just a really fun person and she did live for them boys.
"It's been shock, I don't think it has hit me and it won't until I see her. Liz was very kind and was as a support worker through work. The service users all loved her."
Writing on the GoFundMe page, Michelle added: "This page is to help raise funds for funeral expenses, grave stone and to help the boys as much as possible at this extremely sad and difficult time. Liz was full of life and lived for her boys, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read as this has been very difficult to write."
A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesperson told the ECHO: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who died in Egypt." To donate to the GoFundMe page, please click here.
