A mum influencer who travelled with her family from England to Edinburgh said she was left 'disappointed' by one aspect.

Daisy, known as Muddle Through Mummy on TikTok, vlogs life with her young family as they travel around the UK.

In a recent upload, the TikToker shared how she, her husband, and their two sons visited Edinburgh. After a delightful trek up Arthur's Seat, Daisy shared she felt the Scottish capital was missing one thing.

In the video, she said: "I'm not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting to hear Scottish accents everywhere I turned. But while we have been here I think I have only heard two."

Daisy shared how her family walked along the Royal Mile, went to Camera Obscura, and had a trip to the Christmas Shop.

In the comments, many of her followers advised her to visit Glasgow.

One said: "You'll find more Scottish accents in Glasgow."

Another echoed: "I'm from Edinburgh and you'll find more strong Scottish in Glasgow I say the Edinburgh people are more well-spoken like myself."

"Edinburgh is very touristy, and so it should be, it's beautiful. But I agree more Scottish accents in Glasgow," a third said.

In another vlog, the mum influencer shared how they packed up their bags and took a bus to Glasgow.

She added: "Don't hate me for this but I think I prefer Glasgow to Edinburgh. We spent three nights there [Edinburgh] and while I loved it, it was stunning, it was so expensive and touristy. For £3.50 each, we got a bus to Glasgow.

"The vibe is just so different from Edinburgh. It's really urban, creative, and cool."

In the caption, Daisy added: "Finally Scottish accents!"

While many of her followers offered more advice on where she should visit in the city, some chimed in and replied to her 'unpopular opinion.'

One said: "I wish I preferred Glasgow. I live in Edinburgh so I’ll be skint forever."

A second added: "It's ok, everyone prefers Glasgow."

"I think with Edinburgh just coming away from the Royal Mile area you will find less touristy and free things to do," another interjected.
