Murder investigation launched after woman's body found in Welsh town

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the discovery of a woman's body in a Welsh town. Dyfed-Powys Police has launched an inquiry, following the discovery at a house in Bigyn Road, Llanelli, on Friday Friday, July 5.

A statement from the force yesterday (Sunday) said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the death of a woman, following the discovery of a body at a house in Bigyn Road, Llanelli yesterday (Friday, July 5). A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

"We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident, however there will continue to be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days as the enquiry continues."
