Viewers turn detective tonight in Channel 4's new series Murder Island where contestants get the chance to solve a murder mystery.

It's Bake Off night and Paul Hollywood's favourite week as the bakers take on the daunting task of impressing him with their loaves of bread - but who will leave the tent?

A moving documentary series on BBC Two follows families over two years of a dementia diagnosis in Dementia & Us, showing the realities of living with the condition.

Tonight also offers two chances to enjoy a view of rural life - with a new series of Channel 5 hit Our Yorkshire Farm, and the last episode of ITV's Wonders of Scotland with David Hayman.

Murder Island - Channel 4 - 9.30pm

Putting a completely different spin on the murder mystery, this new series sees members of the public compete to try to solve a fictional crime.

The series has been created by bestselling crime author Ian Rankin so expect a gripping tale, which begins with the body of a woman found at an old property she had rented from the pub landlord.

Amateur detectives investigate the murder to try to catch the killer and bag themselves the £50,000 prize in this Hunted-style contest.

Bread week has arrived. (Channel 4)

Bread week has arrived in the Bake Off tent, which is simultaneously Paul Hollywood's favourite week, and the one where he's at his most terrifying as a judge.

The bakers must try to impress Hollywood with their loaves and avoid the dreaded soggy bottom, but will anyone manage to rival the infamous bread lion of 2015?

New two-part documentary Dementia & Us follows four people diagnosed with the condition and their families over the course of two years.

It shows how their dementia progresses, the challenges they face in everyday life, and the inspiring way their families help them to cope and hang on to some of their treasured memories.

Amanda, Clive and their nine children are juggling home schooling with a bitterly cold winter as they take care of their pregnant flock of sheep.

The programme's Kid Cams give an insight into how the children learn on the job as they take on their own farming tasks that would daunt most adults.
