Murder suspect killed wife before walking into middle of motorway
A man suspected of the murder of a woman in Bury was her husband, an inquest has heard.
Molifi Elvis Mosia, 40, died after he was struck by three vehicles on the M65 Eastbound at around 9pm on August 6. Detectives believe he walked into the carriageway after leaving his wife Barbara Nomakhosi dead with 'multiple injuries' in a house on Walnut Avenue.
Mr Mosia was born in Bethlehem, South Africa, and worked as a driver, an inquest opening at Rochdale Coroners Court on Thursday (September 19) heard.

Area coroner Catherine McKenna said Mr Mosia's spouse was Barbara Nomakhosi. Barbara was found dead with 'multiple injuries' on the evening of August 6. Officers had been called to the address at around 10.30pm, but believe she had died earlier in the evening.
Police coroners officer Tracy Bunn told the court Mr Mosia parked his car on the westbound carriageway of the M65 and 'had made his way' eastbound towards junction six.
"He then entered a live lane and was struck by three vehicles - an HGV, coach, and a car," she continued. "It is believed he was a suspect in a murder investigation."
Police have previously said they are not looking for anyone else over Ms Nomakhosi's death. A provisional cause of death was given as blunt force injuries. A full inquest will be held at a later date.
