Murder Victim's Family Appeal For Information a Decade After Her Death

Victoria Police offered a $1 million reward for information about Cindy Crossthwaite, who was murdered more than a decade ago. Her family addressed the media in a press conference on Friday, October 6.

“I’m really happy that there’s been a reward given out and that maybe it’ll promote someone to come forward,” Crossthwaite’s daughter Jesmine said. “It’s sad that it’s had to come to that, I guess, but I’m really happy that something’s being done about it.”

The mother-of-three suffered fatal head injuries in her Melton South home on June 20, 2007. The Australian Associated Press reported her 15-month-old son was in the house at the time.
