Follow the highs and lows of two young soldiers in Eros Musical Society’s 60th anniversary production, Sunshine on Leith.

East Renfrewshire Musical Society are bringing Stephen Greenhorn's beloved show, with music by The Proclaimers, to East Kilbride Village Theatre from March 4-8.

Eros President Tracy Fraser told Lanarkshire Live: "Sunshine on Leith is beloved by audiences and critics alike, following the highs and lows of two young soldiers, Ally and Davy, as they search for normality on their return from a troubled tour of duty abroad.

"However, the show demonstrates that life, love, friendship, and families are often far from easy to navigate. For that reason, it’s both very funny and moving.”

It’s a jubilant, heartfelt musical about the power of home, hearth, family and love.

Tracy added: "We’ve had great successes with our shows over the years, including 2024’s hugely popular 9 to 5 and sell out Sound of Music in 2023, but Sunshine on Leith brings us slap bang back to our Scottish roots, in this, our 60th anniversary year."

Tickets for the show cost: Tuesday £19, Wednesday and Thursday £20, Friday £22, Saturday £22. Children £20 (matinee only). Call 01355 261000 or book online.
