Musician and Dancer Try to Entertain Houstonians Waiting Hours to Vote on Super Tuesday

Voters in Houston, Texas, waited in line for up to six hours on Tuesday, March 3, before casting their ballots, due in part to an insufficient number of voting machines allocated for Democratic voters, local media reported.

Voting machines were allocated per political party for Super Tuesday, leading to frustration among Democratic voters unable to use the available Republican voting machines.

By 7 pm on Tuesday, 14 more voting machines were sent to the Robert J Terry Library, the voting site at Houston’s Texas Southern University (TSU), in an attempt to process the large number of remaining voters, local media reported.

The last voter in line at TSU, Hervis Rogers, waited six hours before finally casting his vote at 1.30 am Wednesday morning, local media reported.
