#MyHomeMyStyle: 'We tend to change things up quite often so the layout is different every month'

Delhi-girl Shanna Sandhu has called Hyderabad home for the last three years. She moved from the Capital along with her mother (a consultant) and their cocker spaniel, Fia. It’s been six months in their current rental. “We love it for all the natural light it gets,” she says.

While the mother-daughter duo varies in their aesthetic preferences, they share a love of home styling. “I'm a maximalist and I love saturated colours! This home is more a reflection of my mother's design sensibilities - earthy, calm and sometimes eclectic. We tend to change things up quite often so the layout is different every month if not every week,” elaborates Shanna.

While the lockdown hasn’t changed her work life, it has inspired a big shift towards self-care on the personal front. She has been exercising plenty, eating well, and unwinding with good music and a read or two.

Like most of us, Shanna misses having people over. For now, she is making the most of Hyderabad’s great weather, soaking in some alone time on the balcony.
