Myleene Klass has become the first celebrity to join the Dancing on Ice 2021 lineup.

The presenter, 42, will take to the ice along with 11 other stars in next year’s contest.

The musician and proud mum announced her bid to become a champion skater with an excited Instagram post on Sunday evening.

She wrote: “I have a 13-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old daughter who are obsessed with ice skating.

“They both ice skate and I stand there and I hold the coats. That’s my role – to tie the shoelaces and hold the coats.

“Now it’s my turn to learn and I can’t wait!”

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will once again return to present the ITV show.

The expert panel of Torvill and Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo will also all resume their roles as judges.

Klass recently announced her engagement to partner Simon Motson.

The musician welcomed her third child, her first with Motson, just over a year ago.
