BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty has brought the show to a halt with a warning to viewers. The BBC presenter spoke out on Friday morning (November 1), as she hosted the first episode of the month alongside her co-star Charlie Stayt.

The pair were back in the studio on BBC One from 6am, with Naga interrupting proceedings to issue a warning to viewers. She kicked off the segment: "The time now is 6.20am, when 17-year-old Liz Hatton was diagnosed with a rare and incurable form of cancer, the budding photographer did write a bucket list of things she wanted to take pictures of."

Charlie continued: "And one of those was a member of the Royal Family and she was granted that wish last month when she was invited to photograph a ceremony at Windsor Castle. There she met and hugged, as you can see, the Princess of Wales, who has recently completed her own chemotherapy.

"Now Liz's bucket list is being ticked off gradually as our correspondent, Tim Moffatt has been finding out when he caught up with her." Before a pre-recorded segment played, Naga told viewers: "I should warn you his report does contain flashing images."

During the segment, Liz's mum said: "She only has a very short time to live, and as a parent, all you want is for your children's dreams to come true." Charlie said: "That is a report that is full of emotion and amazing pictures, and it's not bad when Rankin says you have taken a pretty good snap."

"They were fantastic pictures though, brilliant," Naga added. BBC Breakfast continues to air each weekday from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer. Breakfast is only on BBC iPlayer for 24 hours after broadcast. The Beeb says: "We always aim to offer our programmes to stream for 30 days; however for a number of reasons including technical problems, legal or contractual issues this isn’t always possible."
