Naked Man Attacks OAP At Airport, Cops Say

A naked man fell through the ceiling of a women's toilets at an airport terminal before violently assaulting an 84-year-old man, say police.

Officers in Massachusetts say the man stripped off his clothes in the women's bathrooms in Terminal C at Boston's Logan Airport before trying to make his way into the cavity above the suspended ceiling.

Then, just before noon on Saturday, the ceiling gave way and he crashed to the floor on to the bathroom floor, startling a woman.

State police spokesman David Procopio told Fox News the bleeding naked man then attacked an 84-year-old.

The alleged attacker bit the elderly man's ear and attempted to choke him with his own cane, the spokesman said.

State police said the victim suffered serious injuries in the attack before troopers arrived at the scene.

The alleged attacker then struggled with the troopers as they tried to arrest him, with one suffering a minor hand injury

Officers have been unable to find a motive for the man's behaviour, which has been described as "bizarre".

Cameron Shenk, 26, was arrested on a series of charges including attempted murder, mayhem, assault and battery on a person over 60, malicious destruction of property and committing a lewd and lascivious act.

Mr Shenk received treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital for the injuries he received when he fell out of the ceiling.

He is due to be arraigned for the offences on Monday morning.

Mr Shenk could not be contacted for comment.
