New name and look for Nuneaton town centre cafe
A new name and a new look has been unveiled for a cafe in Nuneaton town centre. New signage has emerged above what was Tea&Chat in Chapel Street.
The cafe, based next to the Ropewalk Shopping Centre entrance, is now called Classics. It had been Tea & Chat for almost a decade.
Prior to this, it was The Sycamore Tree, which was a cafe as well as a book shop. But now it has a new future under a new name.

It is not yet clear if the name change has been made as the cafe is now under new management. What is known is that the popular venue continues to operate the traditional opening hours.
While it has a new name, the prominent building next to it, the Jailhouse, remains up for sale. The price tag for the building, which was was re-opened in June last 2022 after it mysteriously closed back in 2020, was reduced and is now priced at £325,000.
