Nando's is expanding its menu to give more choice to those of you who are often dragged to the cheeky restaurant but don't eat chicken.

Starting today (October 17), you can order a Sweet Potato & Butternut burger, which is pretty self explanatory, and the Supergreen burger, which includes broccoli, edamame beans, and kale.

If you don't want them in burger form, you can order both of them as a wrap or a pitta (which is the best choice). If you're a vegan, all you need to do is ask for no mayonnaise.

We haven't tried either option yet (happily accepting freebies though, Nando's PR team) but if the Supergreen burger/wrap/pitta is half as good as the similarly-named Supergrain side then we might even change our usual order of extra hot half chicken - yeah, we're hardcore.

Speaking of hardcore, the Perinaise gets a spicy upgrade with the new Vusa Perinaise, which costs 50p and is available for a limited time.

Also, there's a new larger (or fino, if you like) pitta option, which includes two chicken thighs and halloumi, as well as caramelised red onion relish, cos lettuce and wild garlic aioli mayonnaise.

Today also sees the opening of the barely legally distinct NUNdo's, as part of a Channel 5 reality series (of course) called Bad Habits, Holy Orders which begins this Thursday (October 19) at 10pm.

It certainly looks interesting, but we think we'll stick with the real deal.
